TransPlus at 56 Dean St are launching a new community support session called The Prepare & Post Op group, as Rebecca Tallon de Havilland reports for Boyz.
The Prepare & Post Op group is a safe space for people to come together. It is intended to provide a space for people to ask questions, share their worries and thoughts, or simply just listen to each other and talk freely about how they are feeling Pre/Post surgery.
Prepare & Post is launching its first support session for people in the UK.
It starts online on Thursday 28th January from 6pm to 8pm – and then meets every last Thursday of the month.
If you are a trans person preparing for gender affirming surgery or have recently had gender affirming surgery – please do feel free to join the TransPlus team.
Sessions will take place online via Zoom and to attend please RSVP by email to: Transplusinfo@chelwest.nhs.uk
Prepare and Post op group is for trans male and femme who are about to go in for surgery and for those trans that have been through surgery – however small or great their surgeries are – in transitioning to their true selves.
